Virtualization Manager

Virtualization deals with the issue of abstraction of information. The Virtualization Manager is a specific tool which has been developed in CASPAR to deal with it.
This virtualizer allows users to analyse different kinds of files and their components not only to understand but also to tag them in order to create and organize a personal view of the Representation Information needed to perform their preservation
Marco Fulcoli shows the main aspects of the logical structure of this tool and its working, describing them. The speech is interleaved with a running demonstration.
